DeFi Product Owner, Bilingual: English & Mandarin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

• Holds an engineering background and is capable of transforming protocol and infrastructure complexities into clear product requirements and an optimal user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in DeFi product development, demonstrating a successful history of building products from the ground up (experience in a startup or core team is preferred; familiarity with notable EVM DeFi projects is advantageous).

• Comprehensive knowledge of on-chain mechanisms: account models, transaction patterns, RPC/indexer reliability, caching, and cross-chain workflows.

• Understanding of wallet functionalities and core DeFi scenarios: self-custodial wallets, swaps, staking, lending, yield generation, and token standards.

• Technical expertise: a foundation in full-stack or backend development (React, Node, API, cloud architecture) to facilitate effective technical discussions with the engineering team.

• Bonus points for involvement in establishing protocol standards (e.g., EIP proposals) or practical experience with OAuth/SDK integration.

• Experience in creating consumer-grade crypto products for end-users alongside ecosystem-centric products (onboarding, points/incentive systems, app discovery, partner integrations).

• Demonstrated, measurable success in user growth or ecosystem integration.

• Experience collaborating across various functions, including Engineering, Design, Data, and Ecosystem/Business Development teams.

• Strong sense of ownership with the capacity to drive initiatives independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in both Chinese and English for effective team and ecosystem communication.
