Decarbonisation Lead – Narratives Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the research and storytelling initiatives central to JUST Stories Phase II.

• Discover, investigate, and craft immersive narratives supported by evidence.

• Conduct comprehensive literature and landscape assessments on decarbonisation across various sectors.

• Develop and execute ethical processes for interviews and stakeholder engagement.

• Create publication-ready stories that blend human experiences with analytical perspectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in journalism and writing positions.

• Strong capability in primary research, including conducting interviews and fieldwork.

• Outstanding skills in narrative writing.

• Proven curiosity in reconciling industrial decarbonisation with sector-specific climate policies, while considering the qualitative aspects of stakeholder agency and human rights.

• Experience in politically and socially sensitive environments.

• Solid understanding of how decarbonisation relates to corporate governance and investment decisions.
