Dealer Order Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contact for customers and internal sales partners regarding dealer order management inquiries.

• Identify models, assess pricing and availability, align HVAC systems, and provide system solutions.

• Foster customer engagement and oversee the resolution process from the initial order request through to post-delivery.

• Collaborate and follow up with various teams to meet customer requirements.

• Address and resolve inquiries related to order management.

• Assist in identifying models, pricing, availability, system matches, promotions, and system solutions.

• Process customer orders, including establishing promise dates and entering orders.

• Oversee orders from placement to invoicing via phone, email, text, and chat communications.

• Generate order reports, rectify misses and holds, and finalize open orders and returns.

• Utilize operating-system functionalities to facilitate order fulfillment and customer interactions.

• Refer to and develop standard work procedures to enhance efficiency.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing order flow and enhancing customer experience.

• Participate in team meetings, manager meetings, and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• 2–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or outside sales, ideally within an industrial setting.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening.

• Strong customer focus.

• A change-oriented mindset.

• Proficient problem-solving abilities.
