This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey the company's products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify sales opportunities and reach out to these and other designated accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities with both independent and franchise dealers.
• Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Engage in consistent and effective communication through phone and in-person visits to train dealer partners on current programs and fast funding requirements.
• Offer solutions, rehash, and restructure vehicle loans for profitable approval for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Aid in the preparation of sales contracts by educating dealers on the necessary documentation for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and stay updated on sales materials and current financial product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing initiatives such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated track record of success.
• A college degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
• Proficient presentation skills from initial creation to delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Advanced computer skills and adaptability to emerging technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal improvement and career advancement.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Prior experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
• Significant local travel to current and prospective clients is required, necessitating a valid state driver's license.
