This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively showcase the company's products and services to all management tiers within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify potential sales prospects and reach out to assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities in both independent and franchise dealerships.
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain constant and effective communication through phone calls and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on current programs and fast funding requirements.
• Offer solutions, rehash, and restructure vehicle loans to achieve profitable approvals for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Assist in preparing sales contracts by educating dealers on the necessary requirements for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and stay informed about sales materials, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of current financial products.
• Engage in marketing events including seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing initiatives aimed at independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in the Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors (required).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated record of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong presentation skills from initial creation through to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Understanding of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Proficient in computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal and professional development.
• Capable of communicating and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge or experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Previous experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
• Significant local travel to current and prospective clients is required, necessitating a valid state driver's license.
