This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Crafting presentations and proposals to effectively convey the company’s products and services to management at all levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identifying potential sales leads and reaching out to assigned accounts.
• Following up on new leads and referrals generated through field activities in both independent and franchise dealers.
• Cultivating, sustaining, and expanding relationships with current and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintaining consistent and efficient communication via telephone and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on current programs and fast funding requirements.
• Offering solutions, restructuring, and rehashing vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Aiding in the preparation of sales contracts by informing the dealer of necessary documentation for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of sales materials while staying informed about current financial product knowledge.
• Engaging in marketing initiatives such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (required).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated record of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Skills in creating and delivering presentations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a passion for growth and advancement.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (beneficial).
• Previous experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
• Willingness to travel locally to meet current and potential clients, requiring a valid state driver’s license.
