This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively showcase the company's products and services to various management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify potential sales leads and reach out to these and other designated accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities within both independent and franchise dealerships.
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain consistent and meaningful communication through phone calls and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on current programs and expedited funding requirements.
• Offer solutions and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a manner that is profitable for both Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Aid in the preparation of sales contracts by guiding the dealer on the necessary documentation for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and stay informed about sales materials while keeping current on financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing initiatives such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events targeting independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in the Automotive, Finance, and Sales sectors (required).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales position with a demonstrated history of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient presentation skills, from initial creation to final delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Understanding of advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Excellent computer skills with an ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal growth and advancement.
• Capability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge or experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL is advantageous.
• Previous Outside Sales Experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally to meet with current and prospective clients, requiring a valid state driver’s license.
