This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey company products and services to all management levels in both Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Discover sales opportunities and reach out to assigned accounts and prospects.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities within independent and franchise dealers.
• Cultivate, sustain, and enhance relationships with current and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners through phone calls and in-person visits, providing training on current programs and quick funding requirements.
• Offer solutions, rehash, and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a manner that is profitable for both Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Assist in preparing sales contracts by guiding dealers on the necessary items for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and stay informed about sales materials and keep current with financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events tailored for independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales position with a demonstrated record of success.
• A college degree (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in presentation skills, from initial development to delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Understanding of advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Solid computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong inclination for growth and advancement.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL is advantageous.
• Previous experience in Outside Sales is preferred.
• Significant local travel to current and prospective clients is required, necessitating a valid state driver's license.
