This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary authority on Kong’s offerings, pricing structures, and packaging alternatives, delivering precise and strategic quoting assistance to the sales team.
• Collaborate with the sales team to explore innovative solutions that meet customer requirements while preserving the economic integrity of deals for Kong.
• Manage the complete deal process—from initial framework to finalized contract—emphasizing the reduction of cycle time and the enhancement of revenue.
• Address non-standard, intricate, or multi-solution deal inquiries, facilitating coordination among various business units to achieve consensus.
• Function as a key liaison among legal, revenue, finance, and Product & Pricing teams—ensuring alignment across all departments regarding deal structure and contract terminology.
• Advocate for best practices that accelerate the sales process and ensure consistency across different regions.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a comparable commercial position within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software organization.
• Practical experience in structuring complex deals, including multi-product, multi-year, or non-standard commercial agreements.
• Previous involvement in direct interactions with enterprise clients regarding commercial negotiations or contract language.
• Knowledge of subscription, consumption-based, and hybrid pricing models; comprehension of how each influences deal structure and revenue recognition.
