This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in the development, assessment, and management of quotes and order forms within CRM and CPQ platforms.
• Evaluate incoming deal requests from Account Executives for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal guidelines.
• Oversee discount approvals within set limits and escalate non-standard requests as necessary.
• Formulate deal terms such as contract duration, payment schedules, ramp structures, pilots, and additional agreements.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to facilitate contract modifications and ensure prompt execution of non-standard agreements.
• Maintain Deal Desk approval workflows and help guarantee compliance with service level agreements, especially during month-end and quarter-end closing periods.
• Ensure robust CRM practices and accurate deal information to aid in forecasting, reporting, and subsequent business operations.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success teams to promote efficient deal execution.
• Comprehend how commercial deal structures influence ARR, TCV, renewals, revenue recognition, and cash flow.
• Recognize process inefficiencies, operational obstacles, and areas for enhancement, and proactively escalate risks or challenges.
• Over 3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, or a similar role in a high-growth startup or growth-stage organization.
• Practical experience with CRM and CPQ systems.
• Familiarity with structuring non-standard deals, including multi-year contracts, ramp deals, pilots, and additional pricing.
• Exceptional attention to detail while reviewing contracts, order forms, and specific commercial terms.
• Experience assisting in quarter-end closing cycles within a fast-paced sales environment.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and how deal structure affects cash flow and reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Capability to proactively identify barriers, operational risks, and process inefficiencies.
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
