DBA Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Incorporate a Database Administrator.

• Collaborate on a stable project for one of our multinational clients in the banking sector.

• Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Oracle software.

• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies.

• Optimize databases and monitor performance.

• Maintain and enhance databases and queries.

• Troubleshoot issues and operate the system.

• Plan for growth and changes.

• Manage patches and execute replication processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience primarily with Oracle.

• Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle RDBMS software and related products (versions 12 and 19).

• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies (RMAN-Datapump).

• Conduct database tuning and performance monitoring (AWR, ADDM, ASH, and Statspack).

• Maintain and optimize databases and queries.

• Troubleshoot issues and operate the system.

• Plan for growth and changes (capacity planning).

• Patch management (applying patchsets and PSU).

• Replication process: Goldengate / Data Guard (Active) - switchover and failover processes.

• Performance tuning monitoring (Prometheus-Grafana).

• Knowledge of Exadata.

• Configuration and maintenance of documentation and standards.

• Familiarity with storage (ASM infrastructure - griddisk - diskgroup).

• Knowledge of SQL-Server and MySQL administration will be valued.
