DBA Analyst, Oracle & SQL Server – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing performance, sustainment, monitoring, security, backup, and environment recovery, while providing technical support to infrastructure and application teams.

• Guarantee the availability, integrity, and efficiency of the database environments that underpin essential business functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in administering and supporting databases within Protheus environments, specifically Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Management of Production, Staging (Homologation), and Development environments.

• Oversight of performance, availability, and resource utilization.

• Execution and verification of backup and recovery procedures.

• Evaluation and enhancement of queries, indexes, and critical processes.

• Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Protheus environments (DBAccess and AppServer).

• Proficient in database tuning and performance troubleshooting.

• Handling version migrations, environment upgrades, and database migrations.

• Monitoring of jobs, locks, deadlocks, and database growth.

• Implementation of security protocols, access control measures, and auditing practices.

• Providing technical support to development, infrastructure, and functional consulting teams.

• Proactive measures to ensure the stability, availability, and operational continuity of environments.
