Databricks Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain data pipelines utilizing Databricks and associated technologies.

• Develop and enhance ETL/ELT processes for extensive data processing.

• Collaborate with both structured and unstructured data from various data sources.

• Create and oversee data models that support analytics and reporting needs.

• Partner with stakeholders, including data analysts, developers, and business teams, to identify data requirements.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and governance of data across all platforms.

• Monitor and resolve issues related to data workflows and performance.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data engineering practices and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in the field of data engineering.

• Practical experience with Databricks.

• Strong skills in Python and/or SQL.

• Background in developing data pipelines and utilizing data transformation frameworks.

• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
