Database Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the digital transformation of essential federal systems.

• Create and implement secure, scalable solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure Data Services.

• Design, integrate, and enhance data architectures that power contemporary business applications.

• Develop scalable, automated solutions that deliver value and drive impact.

• Construct SAS, SQL, Python, and R programs to process raw data for NIOCCS.

• Generate files, partition datasets, create data quality reports, and upload files for coding and review.

• Develop programs for correcting misspellings, identifying company names, and enhancing literal quality.

• Create .NET tools and develop Python programs that interact with the NIO API.

• Establish machine learning workflows and implement features based on OpenAI.

• Test, debug, and optimize NIO API parameters while monitoring their performance.

• Provide support to external partners and ensure the production readiness of APIs.

• Manage the inbox and set up accounts for new users.

• Update service account passwords and configuration files.

• Review logs, resolve system issues, and maintain proper access levels.

• Create performance reports and assess metrics.

• Coordinate technical guidance both internally and externally.

• Investigate modernization strategies and prepare documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of overall IT experience, with over 7 years in application development, design and modeling, visualization, integration, and data warehousing.

• Extensive experience in backend data design using Dataverse, SQL Server, and SharePoint.

• Proficient in integrating Power Platform with other systems through Azure, Data Factory, Data Flows, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, REST APIs, and custom connectors.
