Database Administrator, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact for all MongoDB-related inquiries within B2Tech, including the evaluation of any configuration or setup adjustments.

• Oversee and support MongoDB databases in both Atlas and on-premises environments.

• Manage and maintain SQL Server and Postgres databases in both on-premises and AWS settings.

• Monitor the health and performance of the system.

• Reduce database downtime and handle high availability/disaster recovery.

• Strategize for long-term scalability and architectural planning.

• Execute changes, apply patches, and update versions as necessary.

• Participate in the DBA on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a MongoDB DBA (both infrastructure and application).

• At least 2 years of experience as a relational Database DBA (infrastructure and application).

• Over 1 year of experience with AWS.

• Proficient in advanced T-SQL database development.

• Familiarity with Git and code management practices.

• Strong understanding of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity.

• Experience with tools such as dbatools, RedGate SQL Toolbelt, and Coralogix.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in English.
