Database Administrator, DBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage our hybrid database environment

• Ensure 99.99% uptime and comprehensive security for MySQL databases

• Detect performance issues and enhance query efficiency

• Implement AI tools for log analysis and process automation

• Work closely with Backend and Data Engineering teams to create scalable data architectures

• Uphold rigorous backup protocols and disaster recovery strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DBA in high-transaction settings

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, and SingleStoreDB

• Profound understanding of execution plans and query optimization techniques

• Proven experience utilizing AI tools for automation purposes

• Background in managing critical financial systems or payment processing gateways

• Skilled in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
