This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Design, oversee, and assess intricate A/B tests and experiments to validate business hypotheses, ensuring decisions are statistically sound.
• Develop sales performance metrics for products and create solutions that enhance portfolio profitability.
• Create descriptive and predictive data science solutions aimed at optimizing processes, allocating resources, and supporting decisions in health and portfolio performance areas.
• Manage all phases of the data science solution lifecycle: understanding business needs, studying and preparing variables, mathematical/statistical modeling, validating performance, supporting model deployment to production, and measuring outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with the functional area on the design, application, and oversight of models.
• Strong expertise in Python for data analysis and SQL.
• Solid grasp of statistics, including hypothesis testing, distributions, sample size/power calculations, and significance.
• Proficiency in causal inference techniques to accurately determine the true incremental impact of proposed solutions and prevent analytical false positives (e.g., synthetic controls, difference-in-differences).
• Practical expertise in A/B testing methodologies and Design of Experiments.
• Experience with machine learning models, including interpretation and evaluation of metrics.
• Analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills to devise solutions that meet diverse needs.
• Keen interest in expanding knowledge of the business domain, including processes, metrics, and key challenges.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and Cloud environments (GCP).
• Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or Cursor) to enhance coding, testing, and documentation efficiency.
• Ability to conduct requirements analysis and work autonomously, leading requirements gathering, translating business needs into technical scope, and managing end-to-end execution independently.
• Comfortable working in flat, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with generative AI agents applied to data products (e.g., NotebookLM, Gems).
• Previous experience in retail, consumer goods, or product portfolio management.
• Postgraduate degree in relevant fields such as statistics or data science.
