Data Scientist – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Examine extensive amounts of both structured and unstructured data to derive insights and facilitate decision-making;

• Construct statistical models and Machine Learning solutions to address intricate challenges;

• Develop data visualizations that effectively convey information to a variety of audiences;

• Create and sustain analyses and experiments utilizing data science tools and libraries;

• Work collaboratively with global teams, contributing to analytical efforts and data-driven projects;

• Implement software engineering best practices to guarantee the quality, reproducibility, and scalability of developed solutions;

• Other related responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating representative data visualization work;

• Proficiency in Python;

• Familiarity with Pandas;

• Understanding of Scikit-learn;

• Knowledge of Jupyter;

• Experience in Machine Learning methodologies;

• Background in statistical modeling;

• Proficient in analyzing large datasets;

• Experience working with unstructured data;

• Familiarity with SQL;

• Experience with relational database systems;

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL;

• Understanding of Software Engineering principles;

• Proficiency in Git;

• Familiarity with Docker;

• Knowledge of AWS;

• A Ph.D. in quantitative STEM fields (Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines);

• A completed bachelor's degree is required.
