Data Scientist, Predictive Analyst – Mid Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in updating the Base Rate Offset tool for the Auto and Home Actuarial team by leveraging Python skills; this position demands strong proficiency in Python and the ability to learn independently.

• Participate in the development and execution of predictive analytics by applying advanced statistical and analytical methods to provide data-driven insights that support business goals.

• Employ suitable modeling techniques to meet business requirements.

• Apply extensive knowledge of advanced modeling techniques and processes to create new modeling skills and techniques, while also conducting thorough evaluations of model performance.

• Design and generate reports to effectively communicate results and monitor model performance.

• Develop various programs, including those for predictor and response variables, and review them to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Assist in preparing structured and unstructured internal/external data sets to build, rebuild, or refresh predictive models.

• Perform ad-hoc data analyses as required, and communicate analytics effectively to both technical modelers and non-technical business stakeholders.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the modeling process.
