Data Scientist, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• You will create intelligent solutions that integrate advanced analytics with Generative Artificial Intelligence to address real business challenges.

• You will transform data into decisions by developing in Python within Azure environments and applying AI models that deliver tangible value to our clients.

• You will design, test, and deploy solutions that elevate data innovation to the next level.

• You will conduct development, research, analysis, and other tasks assigned by your team leader or project manager.

• You will develop projects in Python utilizing Generative Artificial Intelligence to answer business questions based on client data.

• You will apply your skills to select, implement, and evaluate algorithms—whether they are those you are familiar with or those defined by your leader—conducting necessary tests to assess their effectiveness in each project, including ensemble methods or automatic model selection.

• You will prepare technical and functional documentation for the projects, including solution diagrams, installation manuals, user guides, and result reports.

• You will follow the established training plan, obtaining the corresponding certifications in a timely manner.

• You will provide technical support, when requested, during prospecting processes or sales meetings, contributing your expertise to generate value in the proposed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at an intermediate/advanced level (Technical and business conversations, B2 or higher).

• At least one year of experience in professional Data Science or Generative AI projects.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Experience using OpenAI in Python projects.

• Prompt Engineering for use in Generative AI.

• Familiarity with the Azure environment, especially Azure AI Foundry.

• Clear understanding of applied Probability and Statistics.

• Knowledge of machine learning applications and main analytics groups.

• Experience with databases including design and table creation, as well as SQL querying.

• Ability to understand client requirements.

• Understanding of data architecture.

• Comprehension of data.

• Experience with ETL processes and intermediate database management.

• Creation and management of databases across different platforms.

• Ability to download data from multiple sources.

• Data blending capabilities.

• Creation of advanced analytics models.

• Performance testing of advanced analytics models.

• Deployment of advanced analytics models in testing, staging, and production environments in the cloud.
