📋 Description

• Collect technical requirements and recommend effective data solutions that align data science with organizational goals;

• Establish, design, and implement data models to satisfy and surpass business area needs;

• Create high-quality Data Science solutions, including both supervised and unsupervised models, predictive models, and in-depth analyses that tackle the company's key challenges;

• Independently manage all phases of the Data Science solution lifecycle, from comprehending the business to feature study and preparation, as well as constructing and validating model performance;

• Engage at the cutting edge of technology on projects involving Generative Artificial Intelligence, concentrating on the development of intelligent agents;

• Collaboratively design and execute practical applications and ongoing monitoring of deployed models in conjunction with business units;

• Support the development and maintenance of data engineering pipelines, adhering to best practices for workflow organization and optimization;

• Create secure, consistent, and scalable solutions for data collection, transformation, and quality assurance within data pipelines;

• Explore opportunities and suggest new techniques while ensuring that technical documentation for solutions remains current;

• Operate horizontally and cross-functionally, demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding business processes and metrics;

• Communicate effectively and succinctly (both verbally and in writing), translating complex technical subjects for various audiences and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• SQL expertise: Significant experience with SQL, with a strong preference for the GCP ecosystem (BigQuery);

• Programming language: Practical development experience, preferably in Python;

• Theoretical foundations: Robust knowledge of descriptive statistics, statistical inference, and probability;

• Machine Learning: Practical experience with both supervised and unsupervised models, encompassing feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, cross-validation, as well as interpretation and assessment of performance metrics;

• Analytical mindset: Creative and analytical thinking to propose solutions that address diverse business needs;

• Soft skills: Comfort in working within horizontal, cross-disciplinary teams, with excellent communication skills and a dynamic profile suited for rapidly evolving environments;

• Generative AI: Experience with generative AI solutions intended for developing virtual assistants is a plus;

• DevOps and Cloud: Hands-on experience with code versioning tools (Git) and cloud environments is advantageous;

• Deployment culture: Experience in deploying models into production is a plus;

• Advanced experimentation: Familiarity with designing and evaluating experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests, etc.) is a plus;

• Data engineering: Understanding of data ingestion technologies and strategies, along with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi, Kubeflow) is a plus;

• Integrations: Experience in extracting data through third-party APIs (e.g., Google, Facebook, Salesforce) is a plus.
