Data Scientist Consultant – Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct data analyses utilizing Python and SQL to address critical analytical inquiries for clients.

• Collaborate with clients to establish analytical requirements, determine technical solutions, and develop methodologies that facilitate informed decision-making.

• Design, validate, and implement analytics and data science capabilities that align with client objectives.

• Work with client subject matter experts to convert business needs into effective technical solutions.

• Engage in client relationship management and take part in discussions related to business development.

• Guide and support small teams while delivering top-notch analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.S. or M.A. in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• At least ONE (1) year of professional experience in data analytics or data science.

• Expertise in Python or R, as well as SQL.

• Experience in data science and analytics, including statistical modeling, predictive analysis, and machine learning.

• Knowledge of integrating AI/ML models (such as LLMs and predictive models) into production web applications.

• Proven ability to assist clients, cultivate relationships, and advance solutions.

• Experience in leading or supporting small teams.
