Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the analysis of extensive, intricate datasets to reveal strategic insights that promote product innovation and business expansion.

• Direct the design, development, validation, and enhancement of cutting-edge predictive models and AI-driven solutions—including machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques—to refine every stage of the customer journey, enhance demand/supply forecasting, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

• Work collaboratively across product, marketing, and customer experience teams to pinpoint data-driven opportunities for optimizing conversion, retention, and engagement strategies.

• Create, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multi-variant experiments to assess and enhance product and operational initiatives.

• Produce and sustain dashboards and automated reporting tools to facilitate data-informed decision-making, collaborating with data engineering to build scalable data infrastructure.

• Partner closely with data engineering teams to guarantee data quality and consistency for precise analysis and modeling.

• Effectively convey complex technical insights to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

• Offer training on data analysis and reporting tools, promoting the development of a data-centric culture throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role within fast-paced, data-driven environments.

• Practical expertise in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including model development, tuning, and validation.

• Strong command of Python or R, with proven experience in implementing ML pipelines and frameworks.

• Advanced SQL capabilities, with experience handling large-scale, relational and/or distributed datasets.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar platforms.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to transform ambiguous business challenges into actionable analytics initiatives.

• Effective collaborator with a track record of working independently in remote team settings.
