This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create, validate, and implement robust and scalable optimization frameworks and distribution models.
• Investigate and apply complex methodologies while assessing methodological trade-offs.
• Collaborate across departments to transform ad hoc code into standardized, version-controlled templates.
• Enhance code performance and scale analytical workflows.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in data science.
• 2-3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline).
• Exceptional skills in working with, modeling, and optimizing statistical distributions.
• Advanced expertise in Python or R.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL.
• Preferred: Direct experience with panel data or longitudinal consumer data.
• Practical experience analyzing receipt data or transaction-level consumer data.
• Familiarity with Databricks and scaling advanced computing workloads.
