This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Assume complete leadership of a project, initiating it from the ground up and guiding it to production while coordinating with other Data and Software Engineers.
• Capable of engaging with less technical stakeholders to gather requirements and proactively considering future needs.
• Contribute to the Worker Quality Score model for our users and clients by utilizing various data sources.
• Focus on predicting Candidate Quality for new applicants targeting specific job roles.
• Enhance the Learning-to-Rank model utilized in the Matching Algorithm.
• Develop the scheduler optimization algorithm through Linear Programming techniques.
• Create a forecasting model to anticipate future vacancy demands and alert other departments.
• A technical degree in Engineering or a Quantitative discipline; a Ph.D. is an advantage.
• A blend of experience in both startup and large enterprise environments is preferred.
• In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in Statistics, including hypothesis testing and both supervised and unsupervised models.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases is essential.
• Extensive experience in advanced Data Analysis, including data retrieval, cleansing, and investigative techniques.
• Familiarity with code collaboration practices (PR/code reviews, best practices), CI/CD, and monitoring and logging services.
• Experience in at least two of the following areas (listed in order of importance): Classification and Regression problems, Information Retrieval, Operations Research (particularly Linear and/or Constraint Programming), Computer Vision (especially document detection and recognition), and Natural Language Processing.
• Experience with technologies such as Spark, Apache Hadoop, and Airflow is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries like XGBoost, TensorFlow, and Or-Tools is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of management, as well as among business and technical communities.
• A valid work permit for employment in Spain is necessary.
