This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Analyze extensive and intricate datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that aid in business decision-making.

• Develop, train, and validate statistical and machine learning models aimed at addressing business challenges and enhancing operational performance.

• Utilize advanced analytical techniques including predictive modeling, classification, clustering, and forecasting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp business requirements and convert them into data-driven solutions.

• Conduct data exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for analysis and modeling.

• Design and execute experiments and A/B tests to assess model performance and business impact.

• Convey insights and model outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations.

• Partner with data engineers and ML engineers to deploy models and incorporate analytical solutions into production settings.

• Create dashboards and data visualizations to fulfill business intelligence and reporting needs.

• Ensure the quality and integrity of data, along with proper documentation of analytical processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• 4–6+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or statistical modeling.

• Proficient programming skills in Python or R, with familiarity in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar tools.

• Strong grasp of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques.

• Experience with large datasets and database technologies like SQL.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries.

• Experience in data manipulation, data wrangling, and exploratory data analysis.

• Understanding of machine learning model evaluation, feature engineering, and experimentation techniques.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication abilities, with the capability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) is required.
