This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Create and enhance predictive models.
• Perform exploratory data analysis.
• Produce AI-driven insights to improve intelligence and operational planning.
• Incorporate customer feedback into model iteration cycles, utilizing Agile development practices.
• Deliver the Predictive Model Performance Report, which includes key findings, model accuracy metrics, and evaluations of operational impact.
• Execute sprint-based Agile methodologies to ensure swift development cycles, manage backlog grooming, and align with mission objectives.
• Carry out quarterly assessments to monitor cost efficiency, evaluate system performance, and enhance analytic workflows through the Quarterly Cost & Resource Utilization Report.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or seven (7) years of relevant experience in machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Candidates should have the expertise and ability to develop and refine predictive models, analyze extensive datasets, and document analytic processes.
• Skilled in data mining, statistical modeling, and AI-driven forecasting techniques, with experience in handling both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Familiarity with data visualization, feature selection, and geospatial analytics is essential.
• Candidates must be capable of integrating data from various sources, ensuring model accuracy, and functioning within an Agile sprint cycle to deliver iterative enhancements.
• Proven experience in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical testing.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) is required.
• Candidates must have experience with cloud-based AI/ML tools, such as AWS SageMaker or Azure Machine Learning, and in embedding models into operational workflows.
