This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Create sophisticated models and data systems utilizing location, routing, traffic, and spatial signals.
• Enhance delivery success rates and lower operational expenses.
• Work with extensive GPS traces, mapping data, and geospatial datasets.
• Collaborate with product managers, logistics operators, and software engineers.
• Transform models into practical systems.
• Design experiments.
• Convert complex geospatial insights into actionable operational strategies.
• MS or PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience in developing production ML models implemented in real-world applications.
• Familiarity with geospatial data, including GPS traces, spatial indexing systems, or routing systems.
• Strong grasp of predictive modeling, feature engineering, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience with tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Capability to manage large datasets and distributed systems like Spark, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Technical assessments will utilize an online coding platform.
• Ability to secure reasonable accommodations for the online coding platform if necessary.
