This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborate with Product and Business Intelligence to translate business objectives into well-defined machine learning challenges with explicit success criteria and boundaries.
• Develop and implement models for segmentation, customer churn, lifetime value, and recommendations.
• Create evaluation frameworks that include offline benchmarks and online feedback mechanisms to ensure accurate model measurement.
• Work together with the Engineering team on production design elements such as latency, payload structure, fallbacks, and potential failure modes.
• Oversee model performance over time, identify drift, and manage retraining and iteration cycles.
• Leverage product telemetry and user feedback to facilitate ongoing improvements in model performance and features.
• Collaborate with AI coding agents to expedite development processes (including pipelines, testing, refactoring, and exploratory work) while ensuring human oversight.
• Present findings, trade-offs, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, or ML Engineer.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with hands-on experience in production machine learning.
• Background in churn analysis, segmentation, lifetime value modeling, or recommender systems.
• Comfortable working with production systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and agentic workflows.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
