Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Business Insight & Problem Definition: Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to identify business challenges and establish relevant data metrics, analyses, and interpretations that facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Statistical Modeling: Specify requirements and lead the development, monitoring, and continuous improvement of essential statistical models employed for optimizing marketing expenditures and fostering product growth.

• Narrative & Visualization: Create clear and concise narratives along with data visualizations to effectively convey model outputs and analysis results to diverse, non-technical audiences.

• Rapid Prototyping: Proactively prototype and validate new insights, transitioning from hypothesis to thorough validation with minimal supervision.

• Technical Consultation: Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various modeling approaches effectively, selecting and refining combinations that are tailored to specific marketing scenarios.

• Has Senior-Level Impact: You are a senior individual contributor who operates with considerable independence to spearhead complex data science projects that influence the Core Tech roadmap.

• Is a Creative Problem Solver: You are solution-oriented, proactive, and possess the ability to craft compelling narratives from unprocessed data.

• Drives Strategic Influence: You can collaborate across all organizational levels to shape product and marketing strategies through data-driven insights.

• Your Technical Toolkit: Advanced expertise in Python or R for handling sophisticated multi-dimensional data sets, particularly with libraries such as CausalImpact and RStan.

• Proficient in SQL with the ability to confidently manipulate and structure data.

• Practical experience with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Familiarity or experience in working within Databricks and Snowflake environments.
