Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Utilize cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to address business and customer challenges.

• Create, develop, and scale machine learning models and prototypes that are ready for production integration.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams within Agile delivery frameworks.

• Assume complete ownership of models, ensuring their performance, reliability, and ongoing improvement throughout their lifecycle.

• Participate in comprehensive development processes, including feature engineering and ensuring production readiness.

• Review code, offer peer feedback, and uphold high standards in engineering and quality.

• Establish and nurture strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Transform complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Break down vague business problems into well-defined data science challenges.

• Keep abreast of industry innovations in AI/ML and actively incorporate new knowledge.

• Work collaboratively with other data science teams to enhance standards, practices, and organizational culture.

• Generate and maintain detailed documentation for models, workflows, and processes to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience delivering data science solutions in real-world business settings.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, emphasizing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

• Advanced SQL proficiency and practical experience with large, unstructured, or inconsistent datasets.

• A strong background in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying and maintaining machine learning models within production environments.

• Capacity to translate intricate business challenges into structured analytical problems.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• A business-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of how analytical outputs create value, trade-offs, and growth opportunities.

• Hands-on experience with Azure-based tools for model development, deployment, and lifecycle management.

• A commitment to continuous learning, with a keen interest in emerging AI/ML techniques and technologies.
