This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Create, train, and validate predictive and prescriptive models utilizing Machine Learning algorithms and statistical methods;
• Execute exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, opportunities, and trends;
• Develop and sustain structured, scalable data pipelines;
• Clean, preprocess, and organize large datasets from various sources;
• Construct and oversee performance metrics to assess deployed models;
• Perform statistical analyses, simulations, and hypothesis testing to address business challenges;
• Document processes, models, and methodologies created;
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data policies, standards, governance, and data quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a related discipline;
• Practical experience with Python and ML libraries;
• Strong understanding of SQL and both relational and non-relational databases;
• Solid grasp of applied statistics and regression/classification techniques;
• Experience dealing with large datasets and organizing data structures;
• Familiarity with Git and code versioning practices;
• Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker;
• Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and contemporary data architectures;
• Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision;
• Experience with generative AI projects and large language models (LLMs);
• Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, and model deployment;
• Must be located in São Paulo.
