This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Work in close collaboration with marketing and various cross-functional teams to grasp campaign strategies, lifecycle initiatives, and product usage metrics, translating these into actionable data insights utilizing tools such as SQL and Mode.
• Examine growth funnels, campaign effectiveness, and user cohorts to pinpoint crucial acquisition and retention factors that inform product decisions.
• Take ownership of attribution and cohort analyses across marketing channels to enhance user acquisition strategies.
• Design and assess A/B tests and lifecycle marketing strategies aimed at boosting user conversion and engagement.
• Create and sustain scalable data pipelines and structured models within the data warehouse (e.g., using SQL) to empower marketing dashboards, campaign tracking, and self-service analytics.
• Develop pipelines for blockchain transactions, order book, and market participant data to facilitate analysis of user behavior, product engagement, and market dynamics pertinent to growth strategies.
• Manage and refine marketing dashboards featuring KPIs, data visualization, and compelling storytelling to influence marketing and product decisions for Senior Leadership.
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of data by implementing validation, monitoring, and documentation standards; establish robust data governance practices across marketing and growth analytics.
• Foster a data-driven culture by making tools and metrics intuitive, dependable, and accessible. Provide support to team members on how to use and interpret data.
• Continuously improve data infrastructure by optimizing systems, assessing new tools, and advocating data best practices throughout the organization.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative disciplines (Computer Science, Statistics, Economics) or a related field.
• Over 4 years of experience in data science, analytics, product analysis, or a comparable discipline.
• More than 2 years of experience working with blockchain or order book data (e.g., experience with indexing blocks, building dashboards in Dune or similar tools, and handling market data from cryptocurrency exchanges).
• Proficiency in SQL, database technologies, cloud databases, and reporting technologies (BigQuery, GCP, and Mode or similar).
• Strong skills in Python.
• Expertise in data visualization tools for extracting insights and effectively communicating findings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
