Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the exploration and development stages for both new and existing products/models related to media measurement.

• Engage in the creation, validation, and upkeep of models.

• Examine extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, guaranteeing the quality and dependability of outcomes.

• Address ad hoc requests from clients, which includes conducting analyses, manipulating data, and generating summary results.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve wider project objectives.

• Assist in the development of methodologies, as well as the validation, maintenance, and improvement of current statistical and machine learning models.

• Aid in the evaluation and validation of both internal and external products to ensure the success of Cint.

• Convey insights and recommendations through visualizations and presentations that resonate with diverse audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or other quantitative disciplines.

• At least 2 years of experience in a data science and analytics role, ideally in market research or advertising analytics.

• Proficient in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets autonomously.

• Familiarity with fundamental statistical concepts and techniques (e.g., distribution properties, hypothesis testing, parametric/non-parametric tests, survey design, sampling theory, experimental design, regression/predictive modeling, classification, stochastic modeling/simulation, and more).

• Experience with various machine learning methods (e.g., clustering, regression, tree-based models) and their practical advantages and limitations.

• Hands-on experience applying statistical and modeling techniques.

• Strong analytical abilities, particularly in data and model validation and accuracy.

• Willingness to learn new methods, tools, and techniques.

• Capable of completing assigned tasks independently while also contributing to overall project direction and broader goals.

• Proficiency in Python, specifically in relation to statistical analysis and the implementation of machine learning models.
