Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV) models utilizing Python.

• Engage in image processing applications including classification, detection, and anomaly detection.

• Conduct feature engineering, model training, and performance evaluation.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to create scalable ML pipelines.

• Deploy models using Azure ML and Databricks platforms.

• Present insights and findings to both technical and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in data science or applied machine learning.

• Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in image processing or computer vision.

• Proficient in Python and familiar with ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Experience with either PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks.

• Practical knowledge of Azure ML and/or Databricks.

• Strong foundation in statistics and model evaluation techniques.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Foundry, experience in deploying CV models to production, and understanding of MLOps concepts.
