Data Scientist / AI Research Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain data pipelines for the analysis of intricate behavioral health datasets.

• Implement and optimize AI/ML models to discern clinical trends and predictive patterns.

• Collaborate closely with the clinical team to investigate clinical hypotheses, executing the necessary data queries and statistical analyses to validate or refute them.

• Serve as the technical representative on scientific papers, abstracts, and whitepapers. You will convert data methodologies, model architectures, and statistical results into clear, publication-ready language.

• Transform raw data into engaging visualizations and narratives that can be easily comprehended by both medical professionals and the general public.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python or R, along with extensive experience using data science/data engineering libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LLM orchestration tools).

• Solid experience in cleaning, structuring, and analyzing disorganized, real-world datasets (experience in healthcare or behavioral data is advantageous, but not mandatory).

• Ability to articulate complex technical and statistical concepts clearly in writing. A genuine enjoyment of documenting and communicating your findings is essential.

• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in NLP, LLMs, or predictive modeling.

• Previous experience co-authoring scientific publications or technical whitepapers.

• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy standards (such as HIPAA).
