Data Science Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and execute AI functionalities within strategic products.

• Develop LLM-driven solutions for applications including customer support, triage, recommendations, information generation and extraction, as well as flow configuration and automation.

• Create and manage multi-agent systems for intricate tasks.

• Actively participate in experimentation, architectural decisions, and the crafting of ML and AI solutions for the Expenses business unit's products.

• Establish AI services and production workflows (APIs, observability, logging, performance monitoring).

• Set and uphold quality metrics, utilizing experimentation (A/B testing or controlled trials) and continuous enhancement.

• Assist in ensuring security, privacy, and compliance regarding sensitive data, encompassing best practices for anonymization and governance.

• Record technical decisions, trade-offs, and patterns to facilitate the scaling of AI adoption across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.

• Significant experience as a Data Scientist / AI Specialist (at least 5 years) with deliverables in production.

• Practical experience in applying LLMs to product-related scenarios.

• Expertise in data tools and platforms (e.g., Databricks, Python, SQL, Metabase).

• Proven experience in building LLM solutions (RAG, fine-tuning) and developing multi-agent architectures with quality evaluated by Evals and defined metrics.

• Experience in orchestrating agentic workflows with LLMs utilizing frameworks such as LangGraph.

• Strong foundation in applied Machine Learning (classical models, metrics, validation, experimentation, and monitoring/drift) to complement the development of LLM solutions in production.
