Data Science Intern, Music & Audio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Join our team as a Data Scientist Intern to bring structure to the complexities of culture.

• You will extract insights from elusive data sources to address significant questions: What cultural trends are emerging that others may overlook? How can we forecast virality? And what elements define an underserved category?

• Identify and leverage new, untapped data sources through innovative scraping techniques.

• Construct data processing pipelines from the ground up to manage raw, unstructured data.

• Utilize LLMs and agentic coding tools to enhance data cleaning and analysis processes.

• Launch EC2 instances for real-time data collection and automated scraping tasks.

• Prototype and deploy machine learning models on AWS for real-time predictions and content analysis.

• Develop custom dashboards and reports to present insights to leadership.

• Analyze trends, audience behavior, and performance metrics to inform business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative/technical field.

• Hands-on data science experience in dynamic business environments, including Tier 1 consultancies, major tech companies, high-growth startups, or leaders in the media industry.

• Proficient in Python at an expert level, with knowledge of standard data science and machine learning frameworks.

• Experience in scraping and obtaining raw data from new sources, creating innovative solutions to access difficult datasets beyond standard APIs.

• Extensive practical experience with agentic coding tools and LLMs for data workflows.

• Experience in deploying production models, including infrastructure setup and monitoring.

• Advanced skills in data visualization using standard libraries or Tableau.

• Strong collaboration abilities with engineering, product, and business teams.

• You excel in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
