Data Science Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Be part of Atlassian’s Analytics & Data Science team this summer and leverage your skills to impact millions of teams globally.

• Report directly to a manager within the Data Science team and gain insight into the significance of data science through a structured project.

• Provide recommendations to colleagues and leadership to influence essential decision-making.

• Assess the impact of product strategies; design and analyze experiments and product launches.

• Create data-driven recommendations and communicate insights to peers and leadership to shape decisions.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and analytics teams to enhance customer experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) program from November 2026 to February 2027.

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program and planning to return to studies after the internship, with graduation expected by January 2028.

• Proficient in manipulating data using SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages.
