Data Science AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Gainwell Technologies is on the lookout for a talented AI and GEN AI Engineer to create, develop, and implement advanced AI and Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions within our healthcare technology platforms.

• AI/GEN AI Development – Design, construct, and train machine learning, deep learning, time series models, Gen AI (Multi modal LLMs), predictive analytics, Natural Language Processing, and Image Processing solutions tailored for healthcare applications.

• Comprehensive AI Solution Deployment – Create, test, and launch AI solutions in both cloud and on-premises settings, ensuring reliability, scalability, and impactful real-world applications.

• Data Handling – Engage with extensive healthcare datasets, executing data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• System Integration – Proficient in API development and integration processes.

• Performance Enhancement – Regularly monitor, refine, and enhance AI/GEN AI models for improved accuracy, efficiency, and speed, utilizing ML Ops and LLM Ops best practices.

• AI Research & Innovation – Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML/GEN AI, investigating new technologies and methodologies to boost solution effectiveness.

• Compliance & Security – Guarantee that AI implementations comply with healthcare industry regulations, ethical AI principles, and data privacy standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Between 6 to 15 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, particularly in the development and deployment of AI solutions.

• Practical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, Gen AI (multi modal LLMs), NLP, and computer vision technologies.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and various other AI frameworks.

• Experience in developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs (GPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar) for real-world applications, including prompt engineering, model optimization, and inference efficiency.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps for scalable AI deployments.

• Proficiency with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL databases).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for converting business challenges into AI-driven solutions.

• Knowledge of healthcare AI applications and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS) is advantageous.

• Understanding of business use cases, strong interpersonal skills, architectural abilities, and the capacity to persuade various stakeholders.
