This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assisting in the collection and analysis of end user reporting requirements in collaboration with Business Analysts and end users.
• Managing the creation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards and reports.
• Recognizing and facilitating opportunities for automated workflows.
• Designing, developing, testing, and validating new reports, dashboards, and processes of a basic complexity.
• Comprehending and implementing continuous improvement processes, policies, and procedures along with internal control standards to ensure accurate "One Source of Truth" reporting.
• Aiding in the development and enhancement of reporting capabilities across various analytical and data management tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) through feedback and testing.
• Conducting and documenting data analysis, validation, and mapping/design.
• Gathering, analyzing, mining, and utilizing data stored in data warehouse universes and databases with company-supported tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Python, BI, etc.).
• Assisting in developing techniques and models to assess business results, risk exposure, and identifying causes of deviations from plans, including sales and agent practices, claims and persistency experiences, processing methods, team production and utilization, staffing forecasts, and/or operational expenses.
• Implementing and maintaining forecasting models of basic complexity to project business needs and/or outcomes.
• Performing and maintaining fundamental financial analyses, including cost-benefit analyses, cost estimates, and decision support analyses to provide business partners with financial impact information for informed decision-making.
• Assisting business partners with various ad hoc analyses aimed at enhancing the efficiency and/or effectiveness of each department.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent to 8 years of relevant experience is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, preferably in roles related to Insurance, Financial Services, or Operations Consulting, is required.
• Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency in tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Business Objects, Tableau, and Alteryx is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in presenting fact-based analyses to business partners, are essential.
