Data Protection Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Organize and execute data protection audits in collaboration with Group Data Protection

• Detect deficiencies in data protection practices

• Create comprehensive audit reports

• Oversee corrective actions and carry out follow-up audits

• Provide regular updates to Group Data Protection, especially concerning current risks

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Law, or a similar field

• Preferably, prior experience as an auditor

• Ideally certified as a data protection specialist and/or as an auditor (e.g., GDDCert, BvD, TÜV, CISA/ISACA)

• Fundamental knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)

• Methodical, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset

• Fluency in German and a good command of English

• Dependability and a proactive approach

• Willingness to travel; approximately 50% of working hours dedicated to audit activities
