This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Serve as a local on-site representative for programs and the company to residential clients.
• Install energy-efficient equipment, perform energy efficiency audits, and conduct pre- and post-installation verifications along with other technical data collection tasks within a designated area.
• Assist Program Managers in their initiatives to persuade stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services.
• Offer technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancements per client specifications.
• Diagnose technical issues and offer recommendations for solutions.
• Develop and nurture relationships with residential customers and contractors, ensuring that essential energy efficiency measures are installed correctly and punctually.
• Record and monitor interactions with contractors and confirm that installations meet the necessary program savings.
• Educate and train contractors regarding program details.
• Provide personalized and continuous support to property owners and contractors to ensure project compliance with contracts.
• Document interactions with customers and contractors to comply with program requirements.
• Supply input and status updates to program staff.
• Act as a local, on-site representative for both the program and the company to clients and contractors, promoting participation in the program and addressing potential barriers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• An Associate’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• BPI, QCI, or HERS Certification is a plus.
• Experience in residential energy conservation, ideally within the Weatherization Assistance Program, residential construction, or a related area.
• Proficiency in computers and familiarity with Microsoft programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, reporting, sales, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to lift thirty-five pounds (35 lbs) and physically examine confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and hatch doors.
• Must be proficient in using tablets and mobile devices for audits and communication purposes.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
