
Data Product Manager, Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Engage in the development and enhancement of data products centered around Supply Chain, guiding product strategy and communication with your direct leadership;
• Facilitate alignment sessions, explore problems, and generate ideas with squads, stakeholders, partners, and users;
• Present executive-level presentations that convert the team's outputs into business value;
• Prioritize and analyze data: assess initiatives and features based on data insights, business significance, and user feedback, evaluating both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and product growth;
• Conduct workshops, activities, and meetings;
• Create a product narrative to consistently influence and coordinate across various interacting areas politically and relationally;
• Ensure the quality of outputs and maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding improvements, developments, features, and new capabilities of the data products;
• Lead discussions and contribute ideas in technical dialogues with Analytics Engineering and Data Science teams;
• Assist leadership in managing the team's operations, particularly by tracking team progress and evolution metrics;
• Organize the backlog and promote team autonomy in implementing Agile best practices;
• Oversee product lifecycle management: guide the product through all phases, from conception and discovery to development, launch, growth, maturity, and decommissioning.
• Proven experience working with data products (specifically in Data Science and/or Analytics Engineering) as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Analyst; ideally, have served as a Data Product Manager;
• Experience in building products from the ground up, from conception to launch, preferably having taken on multiple PM roles throughout the process;
• Basic understanding of Data Science (e.g., modeling types, statistical methods, experimentation cycles, model testing, and proofs of concept) — capable of communicating and guiding the team (programming skills are not necessary);
• Good knowledge of data modeling, able to organize and structure data, and lead analytical studies with the squad;
• Comfortable and knowledgeable in applying Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and/or others) within multidisciplinary, collaborative teams;
• Familiar with User Experience concepts and practices, product design, hypothesis testing, and innovation scenarios;
• Strong relationship-building skills and collaborative working abilities with diverse teams and stakeholders;
• Capacity to evaluate discussions and promote data-driven decision-making;
• Proficient in integrating quantitative analysis with qualitative research to formulate hypotheses and inform decisions;
• Effective and clear communication skills in writing, speaking, narrative development, and presentations;
• Adaptable to a dynamic environment, capable of managing change and ongoing transformation;
• Strong planning and organizational abilities, proactively identifying blockers and unforeseen challenges at any stage of the product lifecycle;
• Exhibit critical thinking, a questioning product mindset, and strategic vision regarding impact, outcomes, and scalability.
• DIFFERENTIALS:
• Experience in Supply Chain products/projects is a notable advantage for this position;
• Experience as a PM in teams encompassing multiple data and digital roles is a beneficial differentiator;
• Familiarity with managing by OKRs;
• Experience working with products involving various stakeholders and different hierarchical levels;
• Proven ability to use communication and analytical skills to tackle complex problems;
• Experience applying AI concepts and tools during the prototyping phase.
