This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Establish and guide the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products that align with business goals and the company's data platform.
• Convert the needs of business and cross-functional teams into precise data product requirements, complete with understandable data contracts and clearly defined consumption patterns.
• Manage the backlog prioritization based on value, effort, and impact, while balancing the demands from various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, AI, and Product teams to facilitate scalable and reusable deliveries.
• Set and monitor success, adoption, and quality metrics for data products.
• Ensure that delivered products satisfy the use cases of consuming teams, including Generative AI applications and autonomous agents.
• Maintain data governance, reliability, and compliance (including LGPD) in conjunction with the relevant areas.
• Clearly convey decisions, trade-offs, and roadmap developments to both technical and business audiences.
• Extensive experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner, ideally with a focus on data products, data platforms, or data-driven products.
• Proven experience managing the entire product lifecycle: discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, requirements writing, and metrics tracking.
• Strong understanding of data engineering and architecture concepts (pipelines, ingestion, transformation, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and data contracts).
• Capability to translate business challenges into data solutions and engage deeply with technical teams.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams utilizing agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of product metrics and a culture centered on data-driven decision-making.
• Solid understanding of data governance, quality, and privacy (LGPD).
• Desired:
• Familiarity with the concept of Data as a Product and frameworks such as Data Mesh.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments (S3, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, Bedrock and associated services).
• Understanding of Generative AI use cases (RAG, agents, LLMs) and how data products support these solutions.
• Basic SQL skills for independent data exploration and validation.
• Previous experience in the financial sector or in high-scale, high-criticality environments.
• Certifications in product management (e.g., Pragmatic, Reforge) or AWS cloud.
