Data Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Quickly become the primary owner of high-impact data deliverables to drive product success through best-in-class outputs with an emphasis on accuracy, client value, and efficiency.

• Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive QA processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across assigned sector products and client deliverables.

• Act as a trusted resource for both clients and internal stakeholders by comprehending client needs and aligning them with our data methodologies, limitations, and coverage.

• Independently analyze and rectify complex data quality issues.

• Collaborate across functions with Insights and Engineering to establish best practices that deliver customer value, while developing technical solutions that streamline workflows, optimize data processes, and enhance automation.

• Proactively seek opportunities to boost efficiency, robustness, and data quality within your team’s workflows, while mentoring peers as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting.

• You have over 4 years of experience utilizing SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large, complex datasets; familiarity with Github and Databricks is also required.

• You have experience working with sample or panel data to make accurate estimates that inform decision-making.

• You demonstrate a proven ability to rapidly learn new concepts, especially complex data methodologies.

• You can effectively communicate complex ideas, both verbally and in writing.

• You exhibit a strong ownership mentality and are excited about making a significant impact at a fast-growing company.

• You are capable of managing multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks independently, and making strategic decisions based on client needs.

• You enjoy mentoring colleagues and elevating the quality standards through shared practices and best methods.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting market intelligence or data analytics for consumer clients within a consulting or alternative data firm, with a solid understanding of their business needs.
