This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of Power BI and Power Platform developers, including managing task assignments and performance evaluation.
• Ensure that all development tasks are appropriately scoped, prioritized, monitored, and delivered on schedule and to a high standard.
• Take ownership of the reporting and analytics function, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and establish KPIs aligned with business goals.
• Supervise the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic data models.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects within Azure SQL and SQL Server environments.
• Oversee the administration of Azure SQL databases, focusing on performance tuning, security, access management, and troubleshooting.
• Design, develop, and support solutions within Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses and Notebooks.
• Enhance and support ETL processes and broader data integration workflows.
• Identify and implement improvements in reporting capabilities, data quality, and platform performance.
• Establish and uphold documentation, standards, and knowledge-sharing practices across the data platform and reporting ecosystem.
• Investigate and advocate for the use of data and AI to improve reporting, automate procedures, and unlock deeper organizational insights.
• A third-level qualification in Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL development (5+ years).
• Proven proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and dashboard design (3+ years).
• Experience administering and supporting Azure SQL environments in a production context.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Demonstrated experience in leading reporting or BI initiatives and effectively engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and BI best practices.
• Experience with modern data technologies, including NoSQL and/or vector databases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
