This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop the AWS-native data infrastructure that supports enterprise AI applications.

• Lead the design and advancement of knowledge graphs and ontologies that drive AI reasoning and retrieval.

• Organize enterprise data into a cohesive, queryable graph with well-defined provenance.

• Manage the retrieval framework, including graph queries, vector indexes, and hybrid retrieval methods.

• Curate grounding corpora, evaluation datasets, and retrieval benchmarks for features based on LLM.

• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for both operational and analytical tasks.

• Develop ingestion and transformation pipelines utilizing Python and SQL through AWS services.

• Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and implement AWS best practices for IAM, security, cost management, and observability.

• Collaborate with security and platform teams to align data access with enterprise identity and access policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM discipline, along with 3+ years of data engineering experience; OR a high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs and ontologies (Neo4j, Neptune, TigerGraph, RDF/SPARQL, or similar) and familiarity with graph query languages (Cypher, Gremlin, SPARQL).

• Strong proficiency in AWS is essential: CloudFormation (or CDK), Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, IAM, Bedrock, and Bedrock Knowledge Bases; experience with OpenSearch and Neptune is advantageous.

• Proficient in Python and SQL, with comfort across relational, graph, vector, and document databases.

• Experience with supporting AI/ML or LLM systems, including RAG pipelines, embeddings, evaluation datasets, and grounding corpora.

• Familiarity with integrating data access into enterprise identity and policy systems.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication.
