Data Platform Engineer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and support the Internal Development Platform (IDP).

• Create and enhance standardized, reusable CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee and expand cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Generate and uphold comprehensive technical documentation.

• Conceptualize and guide the execution of enterprise data architecture.

• Establish and uphold standards for data modeling.

• Formulate policies governing data governance, quality, security, access control, and compliance.

• Assess, choose, and integrate new tools and technologies for the contemporary data stack.

• Enhance performance and cost-efficiency for large-scale data processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Data Engineering and Data Architecture.

• Proficient in data modeling, relational databases, and NoSQL.

• Experience with distributed processing (Spark).

• Familiarity with data orchestration and transformation tools.

• Background in public cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Programming/scripting abilities (Python, Go, or Bash).

• Understanding of observability concepts.

• Experience with modern data engineering platforms (Databricks, Airflow).

• Excellent communication skills.
