Data Platform Engineer – Fixed Term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scalable data pipelines for the ingestion, transformation, and distribution throughout the organization.

• Play a role in the design and enhancement of our data warehouse and lakehouse architecture.

• Assist in consolidating and refining fragmented tools, transitioning manual processes to automated, repeatable solutions.

• Ensure data quality, lineage tracking, and observability throughout our pipelines.

• Engage with our CI/CD workflows and contribute to infrastructure-as-code utilizing tools such as Terraform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a data or software engineer focusing on data pipelines, warehousing, or platform infrastructure.

• Practical experience with tools like Python, SQL, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud-native data infrastructure and batch or streaming data processing.

• A collaborative attitude and the ability to communicate effectively across technical teams.

• Comfort in working within ambiguous environments where not all aspects are clearly defined yet.
